Antonio Cupo Speaks Briefly on His Character: Wrath A Seven Deadly Sins Airing Tonight on Lifetime

(L to R): Wrath stars Romeo Miller, Michelle Williams, Peter Bryant, and Tina Knowles-Lawson.

“Bad guy, I think I’m more misunderstood than anything,” Cupo denotes during a recent press conference about his obsessive and narcissistic character Xavier Collins in the newsest installment of “Wrath” from TD Jakes Seven Deadly Sins Anthology premiering April 16, 2022.

”I think we all have certain characters within us, and we can choose to either act on those emotions or suppress those emotions. For this character, I feel like there was a little stretch for me in that. The feeling of jealousy, I haven’t felt for a number of years. Although I remember a time in m life, in my very early twenties or late teens when that was kind of a thing, when I had to come to a realization of, ’Do I really want to

live my life like that.”

Statistics state that 19. 3 million women and 5.1 million men have been stalked in their lifetime, with a small margin of females being stalked by their intimate partners compared to a strangling 43.3% men stalked by a current or former partner.

72 percent murder suicides involve intimate partners with an alarming 92 percent as female victims.

Cupo recently played Senator Royland Goff, in the HBO series, Peacemaker. He’s also played in the CW/WB series, Supernatural along with 47 featured films, and television shows. He’s executive produced three films in 2021, “A Dickens of a Holiday,” “Coyote Creek Christmas,” and “Raise a Glass to Love.”

Bishop TD Jakes developed a fiercely provocative knack for sharing these stories while exploring topics on spirituality, tendencies, while using references from the seven deadly sins as it is written in the Bible. It’s deep interpretation, conversational pieces that’s fundamentally received— And how these sins impact society today. It is rousing at best.

“On the heels of last year’s popular Lust and Envy movies seen by over 9.4 million viewers in their airings, Lifetime announces the next two Seven Deadly Sins Anthology movie installments, Wrath and Greed, from executive producers T.D. Jakes, Derrick Williams and Shaun Robinson. Based on the series of books by Victoria Christopher Murray, Wrath: A Seven Deadly Sins Story stars Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child), Tina Knowles-Lawson (Profiled: The Black Man), Romeo Miller (Tyler Perry’s Madea’s Witness Protection) and Antonio Cupo (Blood & Treasure) while Greed: A Seven Deadly Sins Story is headlined by Monique Coleman (A Christmas Dance Reunion), LisaRaye McCoy (A House Divided), Eric Benét (Real Husbands of Hollywood) and Nathan Witte (Merry Liddle Christmas Baby).
