Restaurateur, Shema Fulton & R&B/Country Music songstress K. Michelle are hosting a weekly restaurant pop up dining experience at Garden Parc on Cascade Avenue each Saturday of the month beginning, January 18. This dynamic duo will be a merger of Fulton’s, Pearl Restaurant and Lounge and Puff & Petals, in which she co-owns with K. Michelle. The menu features delectable tapas and specialty cocktails in a high energy entertainment-based environment.
Shema Fulton, has been a silent but significant force in Atlanta’s restaurant dining culture. Upon seeing meaningful success with her first restaurant, Baltimore Crab & Seafood, with locations in her native, Philadelphia & Atlanta, Fulton extended her ownership to crafting a new restaurant concept merging a restaurant & lounge model in a neighborhood sprawling with art and cultural events. Pearl Restaurant & Lounge has been a welcomed addition to Atlanta’s bustling nightlife sprawling with celebrities and influencers enjoying the atmosphere.
In September of 2019, Pearl Restaurant & Lounge incurred severe fire damage. Not wanting the culture created at Pearl to diminish, Fulton thought of an idea in which she would host a “pop up” once a week featuring Pearl Restaurant and Lounge’s inclusive dining experience. The Restaurant pop up is also an opportunity for guest to enjoy Garden Parc, Fulton’s newest restaurant venture where the venue serves as an event space Monday through Friday; and holds a weekly brunch on Sundays. Fulton continues to showcase her creativity, while searching for a location to permanently place a new Pearl Restaurant & Lounge.
K. Michelle is a musical sensation, setting records on R&B and Country Music Charts. She is preparing to release her 5th studio album this January. In addition, K. Michelle, co-owns Puff & Petals Lounge with Fulton, opening doors for business in 2017. This lounge features an over-the-top menu complemented by crafty cocktails for the everyday woman. Puff & Petals is a true depiction of K. Michelle’s colorful and creative personality. Puff & Petals has outgrown its location and is on the lookout for a new home. Now, the two businesswomen will combine their successful restaurants for a pop up at Garden Parc on Saturday, January 18.
