Bounce’s breakout hit original drama series Saints & Sinners returns with an all-new episode this Sunday, April 2 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT). On this weeks episodes, actors J.D. Williams (Poot) and Tray Chaney (Bodie) reunite for the first time in nearly 15 years since starring in HBO’s groundbreaking drama series The Wire.
Chaos erupts when Kendrick (Tray Chaney) reaches out to Jabari (J.D. Williams) for a pay day after he thoughtlessly splurges ten thousand dollars on hookers and hotel service. Meanwhile, Mayor Johnson (Vanessa Bell Calloway) hires a private investigator to prove that County Prosecutor Jourdan (Lisa Arrindell) is corrupt and Rex (Clifton Powell) faces off with a powerful old acquaintance when he discovers Jabari’s (J.D. Williams) contract renewal is being brought before the City Council.
Season two brings viewers back to Cypress, Georgia, the sleepy southern town outside Atlanta which has been rocked by the murders of a beloved pastor and the town’s Mayor. Death’s shadow continues to loom over the town’s epicenter, Greater Hope Baptist Church, as a dead body is discovered on its grounds, bringing up the church’s sordid past along with it. As concealed secrets claw their way to the surface, new alliances are formed and deceit, jealousy and compromising sexual affairs threaten to shatter lives and demolish the heart of the church and the town forever. As everyone’s dark past comes to light, the difference between being a saint or a sinner becomes more distorted than ever.
Saints & Sinners stars Vanessa Bell Calloway, Clifton Powell, Christian Keyes, J.D. Williams, Jasmine Burke and Keith Robinson. Joining the core cast this season: Tray Chaney (The Wire), Demetria McKinney (House of Payne) and Karlie Redd (Love & Hip Hop Atlanta).
