ATLANTA (November 17, 2016) This week, Actor Shemar Moore, and comedian/actor Bill Bellamy, kicked off a multi-city press and screening tour for their new movie, The Bounce Back! Hitting the cities of Chicago and Dallas, each experience was filled with fans, fun and a few surprise guests!
First stop, Chicago! On Tuesday, November 15, Shemar and Bill started their day chopping it up with top media outlets in the city, including WGCI’s Chicago Morning Takeover (iHeart Media), Good Day Chicago (FOX), WGN Morning News (WGN), Windy City Live (ABC), Ebony/Jet Magazine (Johnson Publishing) and The Steve Harvey Show (TV).
After their media run, the actors stopped by the Lurie Children’s Hospital to visit kids who are battling cancer. Recently, Shemar partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network for a special fundraising campaign in honor of his 15-year-old co-star, Nadia Alaya, who was recently diagnosed with stage four Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

The day ended with an exclusive screening held at the AMC Showplace Cicero 14. Hosted by radio personality Kendra G., co-host of WGCI’s Chicago Morning Takeover, the experience featured red carpet interviews, fan pictures, giveaways and a post-screening Q&A with the guys.
Special attendees included: Charmaine Johnise (VH1’s Black Ink Chicago); Messiah Equiano (actor/playwright); Tragil Wade (President, Wade World Foundation) and more!
Next up, Dallas! On Wednesday, November 16, Shemar and Bill appeared at another private screening of the film. This time held at the AMC Valley View theater in Dallas, TX, the experience was hosted by famed comedian Griff, who is also co-host of the #GetUpErica Morning Show, and featured the same fanfare and excitement.
Special attendees included: Erica Campbell (singer, star of WeTV’s Mary Mary and host of the #GetUpErica Morning Show); Orlando Valentine (actor, Carter High); Beth Payne (actress, How to Get Away With Murder); Lindsay McCormick (actress, The Bounce Back) and J. Bolin (celebrity fashion designer).
A great highlight of the evening was the creation of a trendy #MannequinChallenge video featuring Griff, Erica and fans.

On Thursday, November 17, Shemar and Bill toured top press outlets to amplify the buzz of the film.
Outlets included: The Tom Joyner Morning Show, the #GetUpErica Morning Show, Black America Web and Good Morning Texas (ABC), who also did their own #MannequinChallenge with the guys!
