The lobby filled rather quickly as business professionals and other individuals began lining up along the walls-- they waited with soaring expectancy for the "what comes next."

On April 21, 2016, socialites, Herb & Felicia Gray (Happy Hour), along with the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi kicked off, "Gantt After Dark," a diverse networking mixer for individuals living in or around the Charlotte area.

Quentin Talley hosted the event on the rooftop terrace of the Harvey B. Gantt Center, while participants mixed and mingled with longstanding acquaintances as well as newfangled pals. The series offered diverse exhibitions, in addition to live music from the Harvey Cummings II Project.

Attendees entered a raffle for an opportunity to win handmade prizes from leading vendors in the area, presented by the 518 Group (#GanttCultureShop). There was also a Paint & Sip demonstration with the talented water-colorist, Cathay Dawkins.

Proceeds from the Paint & Sip was donated to Kappa Foundation mentoring program.

Attendees frolicked, they wind down, and most importantly, they enjoyed themselves without stress.

Finally, Charlotte has secured another event for the grown and ambitious...

The flirtatious social-mixer/Happy Hour is gearing up for another evening of fun and entertainment on 05/19/2016.

With spring and summer colliding, one can only hope that the atmosphere is just as stirring as the last.
