RECORDING ARTIST DAMEZ IS BACK WITH 4TH STUDIO ALBUM "D MONEY"

Multi-faceted emerging Atlanta artist Damez is slated to release his highly-anticipated fourth project on Sunday, February 16. The album showcases Damez's East Atlanta roots and has a trap, R&B, & soul vibe mixed all in one. The tracklist features upbeat songs such as "Pull Up", and "Big Mood" which was produced by Megan Thee Stallion's hit-making producer, LilJuMadeDaBeat. "D Money" can be pre-ordered on iTunes & Spotify Now!

Damez has been consistently releasing music since 2014. Despite many hurdles, he remains focused on the exponential growth of his career. The recording artist kicked off 2020 with a bang, from being featured in Billboard & GayTimes, to opening up for legendary songstress and original dream girl Jennifer Holiday, Damez has shown no signs of slowing down.

"D Money is kind of like my alter ego. It's trap Damez, it's hood Damez, it's East Atlanta Damez... This album is definitely for the streets. I can't wait for my fans to hear my roots and where I come from," he tells GayTimes.

One of the album's key singles, "Big Mood" is a track that everyone can enjoy. Full of metaphors and strategic word play, this track simply boosts your confidence while simultaneously forcing you to bob your head. The official single follows his recently released buzz track, “Pull Up” which was heard across many nightclubs in Atlanta, and was performed before 40,000+ fans. You may be familiar with LilJuMadeDaBeat as he's responsible for some of Megan Thee Stallions biggest hits, "Cash Sh*t" & "Big Ole Freak." Now, the producer is back with another one on Damez' "Big Mood."

Hailing from Atlanta, Damez is a rapper, singer, dancer, songwriter, and a rising voice in hip-hop. Primarily rap/hip-hop and R&B, he showcases his talents and versatility through an eclectic catalog of self-penned songs and choreography-heavy visuals. From his childhood, he has been through an unfortunate series of events such as the divorce of his parents and the horrific murder of his brother at the tender age of 17 (Google: “Justice For Ryan Henderson”). He found refuge in music by independently recording music and performing at live shows. He has since released a number of projects and singles globally on iTunes, Amazon and streaming platforms since his debut EP arrived via SoundCloud in 2014. Being black and LGBT in today’s challenging society has not always been an easy road for him, but he’s channeled the unique intersectionality of his life experiences in his music and hopes to be a voice for unique people everywhere.

"D Money" will be available on streaming on all major platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, and TIDAL, or for purchase on iTunes & Amazon this Sunday, February 16 2020.
